Physical Flexibility Workout
Those involved with Stepping Stone 2to have requested sessions to include physical exercise for their health and wellbeing. An important part of exercise is flexibility, and Yoga has been included in sessions.
Flexibility is included before and after exercise to help improve mobility and avoid physical injury.
However, physical flexibility movements alone would improve problems that many people are affected by, due to stiffness, injuries and lack of movement.
A systematic approach is used to enable people to participate and get the benefits from the activity
Carers who attend the sessions to support others also benefit from the activities
Following on from prior Yoga activity Tra, by request from Jen, carried out an activity which focused on Jens mobility issues.
Jen was focused throughout, displayed enhanced mobility from the last activity, and was totally engrossed in all the moves.
Tra once more was able to maintain Jens focus, crucial given her anxiety, using systematic instruction delivered in a calm, relaxed manner; the activity achieved everything it set out to do. Well done you two!
